To elect Democrats based on Democratic policy positions and the issues not because the voters are angry at or dissatisfied with Republicans and vote for Democrats to punish Republicans, where a few election cycles later Republicans are back in power.

Yes, elections must be won, but victory must be followed with fearless, unhesitating progressive governance, and in order for that to happen, congressional Democrats must have the courage, in the short term, to investigate and impeach Trump and his cabinet for their crimes and corruption, and, in the long term (in 2029), to kill the filibuster and expand the court.
Otherwise change to make a positive difference in people's lives. Will be impossible.
