They are having them now. Maybe that's why that helicopter is hanging around overhead, listening in perhaps?

I wish they would just scoop him up and deliver him to The Hague. What's smokey eyed jdv gonna do about it? Or anyone? I mean, if we can extract a president/ruler from his own country, why can't members of the EU extract this criminal from their lands and deliver him to a real court of law? I'm sure there would be adequate charges to hold him there by the time the door closes behind him.

Kidnapping a foreign leader is generally considered a severe violation of international law and can constitute an international crime, often defined as an unlawful act of aggression, hostage-taking, or a violation of state sovereignty

Regarding your second question, Switzerland is a party to the International Criminal Court (ICC), having ratified the Rome Statute in 2001 so the requirement that the crime be committed in Switzerland is not a requirement to arrest Trump.

Therefore it would be possible for the Swiss to arrest Trump and render him to The Hague.

I don't think it is even remotely likely, but it is possible.

PS: I believe you are correct also: There's no practical way to prosecute a fellow with diplomatic immunity, apart from kidnapping him by commando raid of overwhelming force in the dead of night when his location is divulged and defenses lowered by his inner circle.

that he would be able to keep it a secret. "Motor Mouth" kicks in and he just blathers on, without control. He's always such a victim that his normal impulse , IMO, would be for him to again play that card. "Oh, woe is me. I'm dying, DYING I say. Love me, pity me, pleeeeease!"

Nothing would make me happier to hear for sure that he's on death's door. Are you listening, Lord?
