2. Was surprised that Ana Kasparian (The Young Turks) apologized for not believing Trump was a fascist.

Trump got the benefit of the doubt, something demonized Democrats never get.

What probably happened was the expected audience of left and right populists who hate Democrats didn't materialize. Why the revolution didn't happen either. Their mistake is assuming right-wingers just have to be told they're voting against their own economic interests and they'll turn into progressive populists. Wrong.
