misogynists will tell you they are proud that they didn't vote for Hillary Clinton. And racists will tell you they are proud that they didn't vote for Kamala Harris.

Don't go looking for anything of value in that disgusting sludge of defective human protoplasm that Trump calls his voting base.

Trump got the benefit of the doubt, something demonized Democrats never get.

What probably happened was the expected audience of left and right populists who hate Democrats didn't materialize. Why the revolution didn't happen either. Their mistake is assuming right-wingers just have to be told they're voting against their own economic interests and they'll turn into progressive populists. Wrong.

Oh well, that's show business!
