PA-03: Stanford Campaign (D) Raises $467K in Q4
The first fundraising numbers of the final quarter of 2025 are in for Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District.
Dr. Ala Stanford, a practicing physician for over 25 years, announced that her campaign raised $467,227.92 in the final three months of last year.
“I didn’t come to this campaign from a career in politics – I came here from a career in caring for others,” said Stanford in a press release. “Whether I’m treating families at our health center at 21st and Lehigh or teaching students at Penn, I see every day that Philadelphians want leadership that is grounded in service, competence, and accountability. The outpouring of support we’ve received shows that people across this city are ready for a new generation of leadership in Congress – one that will stand up for Philadelphia, protect our communities, and push back against the dangerous policies of Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans.”
Stanford is one of 11 candidates for Democratic nomination to replace Rep. Dwight Evans who is retiring after the completion of the 119th Congress. She has received the endorsements of Evans, former Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, and former U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz.
