It's been 1 year of Trump's second term. More Americans than ever think he's 'changing America for the worse.'

It has been exactly one year since Donald Trump was re-inaugurated as president, becoming just the second U.S. commander in chief to return to the White House after losing reelection four years earlier.

Now, at the end of Trump’s first year back in office, a new Yahoo/YouGov poll finds that more Americans than ever think he’s been a “worse president than they expected” — and that he’s “changing America for the worse” as well.

The survey of 1,709 U.S. adults was conducted from Jan. 8 to 12, right after Trump toppled Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, threatened to forcibly take Greenland from Denmark and mused about using the Insurrection Act against anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis — and right before he and his team celebrated “One Year of MAGA” with a series of posts on social media.

-snip-

Before Trump took office, more independents said they expected Trump to change America for the better (41%) than said they expected him to change America for the worse (34%).

They must have a very lousy memory. He wasn't that great the first go around but yes, I agree now he's worse than ever.

To the extent he wants anything, he wants to wreck the country for revenge.
Revenge for what?
Only he knows that

and he bungled it. Prior to that he had the Muslim ban, put kids in cages, gave tax breaks to billionaires, unsuccessfully tried to take health care, promised to end abortion rights, said there were good people on both sides when Nazis marched and killed a woman - this is before he bungled Covid and before Jan 6. How did you look at any of that and said one more time!?

…used to mean “not tied to any particular political party’s agenda.” Now, it appears to mean “being independent of a functioning brain.”

The greater good, and increasingly buy into “quick fixes”, forty character X posts, cults, and get rich quick schemes. Cankles is the perfect idiot for a lot of people in this country. They don’t want things like rational plans.
