DFW and further north will definitely have a hard freeze. It won't get above freezing for a few days, starting Friday night. It will be freezing at night in Austin, but it's predicted that it will get above freezing during the day.

t will get above freezing in Houston every day, but they may get ice on the roads Sunday and Monday.

Probably the most important thing for ALL Texans is if you don't have a fixed rate electricity plan GET ONE NOW. Those variable rate plans that promise to always get you the lowest AVAILABLE rate are a trap! When demand peaks, you end up with electric bills that are $2K or more,!

We will be checking the wrapping on the pipes and will be off any highways with overpasses. My son in law is from Illinois, and the running joke is that while he can drive on ice, no one else in Texas knows how to drive on ice.

Or use the tire chains? In any case, I'm not sure it's wise to drive on icy roads if you can avoid it. They just had a 100+ car pile up in Michigan.

Oh well, he is a Senator and he doesn’t care about the constituents in his state except for when it concerns him the most!

The coward!

There's probably eighty miles of Socal coastline between San Diego's major airport and Orange County's airport, and a plethora of beaches to stay aside from Laguna.

Maybe he mouthed off or something.
