(4,743 posts)She was found in Mississippi by a man from Ohio who was working there. She had been thrown out of a moving vehicle (her spine was badly damaged) and was covered with ticks. He brought her back to Ohio and through our son we ended up taking her. She was the sweetest, most lovable dog and brought us much joy. She had a lot of physical damage from the abuse and passed because of that. We had her only two short years but so happy that she had a wonderful life with us. We wanted to share this picture because of that sweet face and soul of hers. I will never understand how anyone could abuse an animal.

(4,254 posts)...especially to my wife Legger for her third place finish. I thought I had taken this photo, but she reminded me that she always sat in the front of the kayak.
We lost little Chica two years ago and still miss her like crazy.
