Can't even afford a decent cup of coffee any more.
I quit using creamer to save $$$!

(1,977 posts)so much I wont run out until the next President takes the oath. I store it properly but have no hesitation to use it after the expiration date. If doing that could be my demise I would have died decades ago.
A connoisseur Im clearly not, but if I looked at the prices now Id probably fall over.

(22,117 posts)I tried that for awhile. I bought six lbs. from a seller on ebay and the bags were split open in the back.

(112,995 posts)When I'm down to my last six months, if prices are still going northward, I will try to alternate tea at least EOD (and yes, I did stock up on that too).
I can and do eat simply and typically fairly cheaply. But, I NEED MY COFFEE!

(28,808 posts)When I could get them for about $9 a can. Mr. Bayard did not keep that restocked, and when he went to buy coffee this morning, it was $20 for a one lb can.
I can't live without coffee, and my sugarless caramel vanilla creamer.
