He doesn't have cable, and mostly reads books. He said he didn't know who Jack Smith was. I was considering sending him copies of the January 6 report and the book The Trump Indictments.

(5,379 posts)New Jersey's 2nd congressional district, based in Southern New Jersey, is represented by Republican Jeff Van Drew. He was first elected as a Democrat in 2018, but announced on December 19, 2019, that he would be switching parties. The district, which is New Jersey's largest geographically, is a Republican-leaning seat that has shifted to the right since the mid 1990s.

From a Daily Mail article
He's Dutch (mostly),
but for a surprise
The family name, Van Drew, is Dutch. But therere some additives.
There are German and Swedish forebears, too and according to a recent DNA test a Russian.
You look at me _ Im kind of fair and all, blue eyes, Van Drew said. I was not surprised to see all the Nordic type of countries show up. I was a little surprised to see the Russian. But not really. Because all these folks mixed. And thats whats amazing when you do these DNA tests.
