Being many hundreds of miles apart from each other, how did they manage to fight a war?

I’m assuming Trump is referring to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Then again, Trump doesn’t think and his advisors and speechwriters are a bunch of nativist, xenophobic pieces of garbage… so they basically have the same world view.

And this after mixing up Greenland and Iceland.
