Mrs. Betty Bowers on Bluesky today: "Primary ALL of them."

Primary ALL of them.

Supporting violent, masked state police is inexcusable, especially after all the videos have shown them to be domestic terrorists who constantly ride roughshod over both people and the Constitution.

Maybe he's a corrupt piece of shit?

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump has pardoned U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Laredo, and his wife, ending the congressman’s multi-year federal legal battle. Cuellar had faced a dozen charges of bribery, money laundering and conspiracy.

In Trump’s announcement on the pardon, shared Wednesday morning via Truth Social, the president said that the Democratic congressman had been punished by a weaponized Department of Justice under former president Joe Biden for speaking out against the administration’s border policy.

“Sleepy Joe went after the Congressman, and even the Congressman’s wonderful wife, Imelda, simply for speaking the TRUTH,” Trump wrote.

Cuellar also on Wednesday filed for reelection as a Democrat, quieting speculation that he planned to switch parties. On the House floor Wednesday afternoon, numerous Democratic colleagues greeted Cuellar warmly, hugging him and shaking his hand. Ed. - Emphasis added.

felt there was a scam going on when I was trying to do a Deed in Lieu of Forfeiture on my house. Pointing out I was a democratic constituent of his made no difference. In fact, I've often wondered if it worked *against* me with him.

He has quite an illustrious background with both public office and private employment (as an attorney).

After reading up on him one evening, I decided he was presidential material. No more.

...this cycle demands every non-billionaire vote blue across the board and make sure the candidate supports expanding the Supreme Court when the next Democratic President is sworn in. Just sayin'.

a Repuke takes that seat. You can't win in the home district of Patriot Prayer with a Progressive. WA-3 isn't ready for anything but a Centrist Dem.

Although she already has a Primary Challenger, State Sen. John Braun, but he's not a Progressive either.

Either too ignorant to understand the issues, too scared to vote a desired outcome or truly are dino's (democrats in name only)
IMHO, they do as instructed by their clergy. This is absolutely true of the abortion issue. If you can gain their trust, you gain their vote and their loyalty.
Result = Cuellar.
I think the #1 commonality for these 7 is that they're up for sale. Financial political support.

Democrats do their best here, many times we have districts in which we can't even get democrats to run! To state that we have "an abundance of Democrats more than willing to vote against their own best interests" is a completely ignorant statement. What we have is corrupt republicans who have gerrymandered this state to death.

And it's definitely true that we have folks voting against their best interests down here, but they damned sure aren't democrats.

I'm specifically referring to the Mexican American population of which I am one.
Too many damn people from my tribe that thinks their sh*t don't stink. They think if they vote Republican then they'll be accepted. The difference between Cuellar and a Republican is a letter. He should be in jail but the Felon knew he works for the highest bidder so he gambled on him. He absolutely should've lost his last election but he fooled his constituents and with the help of Nancy Pelosi. He backed her play and she endorsed him over the progressive young lady whose name escapes me. His constituents would probably still vote for him in jail. Which makes them no different than MAGA'S.
I can appreciate the true Democrats, regardless of race and it must be really frustrating.
But if a Democrat defends Cuellar, that is the ultimate ignorance.

Texas, used to be a swing state but now it only swings to a deeper red. How else do you account for the idiots running it.

I tip my hat to your Democratic Reps. They are definitely fighters, and to those Democrats that vote blue, I apologize for not separating you from my rhetoric, my diatribe is not directed at you. I'm just really pissed, especially at Cuellar

The Repukes gerrymandered the state so badly it's not at all certain we'll hang onto that district.

There's no point in primarying Davis.

It's not that hard being a real fucking Democrat right now. Failure is not an option.

Some would gaslight you into believing that it just doesn't matter.

How do you vote for the enforcement arm of this white supremacist regime and say it doesn't really matter.

This should have been a unanimous no. Appeasing bigots and calling it law and order is fucked up.
