Starmer calls out Trump

Last edited Fri Jan 23, 2026, 08:24 PM - Edit history (1)

Just a brief intro. Trump, in Davos, cast aspersions over Europe's contribution to the US mission in Afghanistan when European members of NATO rallied to America's cause in response to an Article 5 trigger -- the one and only Article 5 trigger. KS, who used to be one of his most obsequious poodles, is finally showing some gumption.
Trump claims that Nato troops stayed “off the front lines” in Afghanistan. A total of 457 British soldiers were killed between 2001 and 2014 in the US-led invasion.

Under the second Trump administration, several policy shifts have impacted the disabled workforce:

He actually took a stand on something.

Maybe insulting their troops as well as other NATO members’ was a little too much even for Starmer.
