FFS...I can't believe anyone would WATCH CNN when Scott Jennings is on.

I've shared this a number of times on DU...CNN's "swing to the right" is a deliberate attempt by the two billionaire MAGAt bros in charge, Warner / Discovery CEO David Zaslav and John Malone...to turn the channel into Fox News "Lite," to make a welcoming home for Republicans to come on and spout talking points, unchallenged, and to be the home of "whataboutism." Even the SLIGHTEST forms of criticism toward Republicans MUST BE MET with "BUT...the DEMOCRATS..."

Search their names on Google and you'll get this:

John Malone, a major Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) shareholder and board member, acts as a key mentor and advisor to CEO David Zaslav. Malone has publicly pushed for CNN to shift from a "left-leaning" to a more centrist, fact-based, and less opinion-driven news model.

...except I don't think the current CNN is "CENTRIST" at all, nor do I think that was the pair's goal. I think "Fox News Lite" is a MUCH more accurate description.

So there's this:

MAGA commentator Scott Jennings scolded into silence on CNN

...and the "no more than 4 paragraphs of copyright material" rule and the proliferation of 1-sentence "paragraphs" makes a meaningful excerpt impossible here.

Jennings was basically "defending" ICE and repeating the debunked right wing talking points regarding Jonathan Ross' murder of Nicole Good.

But I fear that sinking ratings might not be enough to convince the big cheese wheels that becoming Trump sycophants might not be such a good idea.

...I was shocked the other day when I saw a clip of him up to his eyeballs in "WHATABOUTISM." It was creepy to watch, like he was lying in wait to seize his moment.
