White House roasted for not knowing where penguins actually live: 'Wrong hemisphere!'

As Trump openly fantasizes about taking over Greenland from Denmark, the official White House account posted an artificial intelligence-generated photo of the president walking next to a penguin on a block of ice. In the photo, the penguin carries a U.S. flag and the two walk toward a Greenland flag.
Observers quickly pounced on the post, noting the massive island contains no penguins. Indeed, all 18 penguin species are confined to the Southern Hemisphere, with the highest concentrations on Antarctic coasts and sub-Antarctic islands.
The anti-Trump account PatriotTakes wrote on X, "There are no penguins in Greenland. All Penguins live in the southern hemisphere except one species from the Galapagos Islands. Perhaps you shouldnt have dismantled the Department of Education so quickly."
Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) chided on X, "Wrong hemisphere."....
Brian Espinoza, writer for the Rogue Rocket & Philip DeFranco Show, wrote on X, "You dumb mother f---ers, there are no penguins in the North."

(4,202 posts)There are penguins in the Northern Hemisphere.
They are in something called zoos. Usually in programs to help protect and breed species.
But of course, t and his cabal have probably never even been to a zoo. All those dirty stinky animals, doncha know.

(22,604 posts)It's ridiculous enough that both he he and the penguin are leaving the same exact footprints, much less that his are in a perfctly straight line!

"Two tiny, remote Antarctic outposts populated by penguins and seals are among the obscure places targeted by the Trump administration's new tariffs.
Heard and McDonald Islands - a territory which sits 4,000km (2,485 miles) south-west of Australia - are only accessible via a seven-day boat trip from Perth, and haven't been visited by humans in almost a decade.
Australian trade minister Don Farrell told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) that the tariffs were "clearly a mistake".
"Poor old penguins, I don't know what they did to Trump, but, look, I think it's an indication, to be honest with you, that this was a rushed process."

(33,666 posts)Trump went to the Galapagos Islands first.
Then, a group of penguins with a sense of humor decided to send him to a friend of theirs in Antarctica. Especially when they found out that a crazy old billionaire was trying to find "Ice" land, they saw an opportunity.
They took him on a real wild goose chase. The bossy one agreed to help him build a golf course and introduce him to some young Slavic blondes.
Unfortunately, his other penguin friend (the dumb guy) brought the right flag. And they had to think fast and buy themselves some time.
When they had finished scamming him for fish, convinced him to let them have the code to his bitcoin wallet and then finished colluding during a swim, the smart penguin made up an elaborate lie and told him about having the wrong flag.
He didn't even question it.
Eventually, they were able to get him to Saskatchewan. He kept nodding off on the way, so they had a few friends connected to the dog sled race business that assisted with "transportation," no charge.
He never even noticed when they crossed the border into Canada. Plus, he didn't seem to care anyway.
As long as everywhereeveryone was white.
Holding a penguins hand wandering around in the snow made a great picture for a tweet, they told him after he paid the "photographer."
Who does he think he is? Paddington Bear? Asked one of the other penguins, He's not even wearing a hat, another said. They chuckled. Yep, it's cold as Minnesota, and he can't even remember where he left his suitcase, said another.
Right before they started slapping their sides while jumping around, sliding into each other, and breaking into uproarious laughter. Silly old man, the dumb one finally realized.
