It appears respect and civility are leaving, following truth and empathy which are virtually gone.
Are we headed for a 2nd civil war?
Is there a way for everyone to take a breath and *Descalate*?
I’m old, and what happens to me is immaterial, but I fear for family, friends and this country.

People are being killed.
Trump keeps thinking of new ways to kill us.

A lack of empathy, civility, and education is a sure sign amongst the MAGA crowd.

The thing about Civil War 2.0 is that it wouldn't have marked state boundaries. It would be neighbor vs. neighbor on nearly every street. In the end, millions would die, the nation would crumble, and any improvement in the survivors' lives would be decades away. No other country would help us recover.

How could we be so short-sighted?

5. What I do: attend local protests

Send my thoughts to leaders, support who I can then….continue my exercise classes, yoga, long walks and hikes to balance it out.
