8. Here's what's happening

I don't understand all the parliamentarian shit involved, but here's my take on it:
1. Congress must give money to federal agencies then must approve for them to spend it.
2. Both Houses of Congress must approve the same bill -- House and Senate.
3. There is a bill that passed the House with seven cowardly Democrats voting AYE -- the bill provides money for DHS and ICE to continue to kidnap 5-year-olds and murder adults.
4. The bill must now pass the Senate. Because of an arcane Senate rule, the Republican Senate majority still need some Democrats to vote for the bill.
5.. Chuck Schumer -- who is basically a wimp whose only contribution is to write sternly-worded letters then fold like a cheap suit -- has said, because of the murders of Good and Pretti, Democrats will not vote for the financing, thereby leaving DHS and ICE broke.
6. Most Senate Democrats have said they are not voting for the bill, DHS and ICE will get no money, and the goddam government can shut down if that's what it takes.

So now the world waits to see if Senate Democrats will grow some balls or do what they usually do -- piss and moan, issue some press releases condemning the shit that ICE is doing, stroke their beards, then fold and vote for the DHS and ICE money.

Meanwhile, Susan Collins -- Republican POS of Maine -- is contemplating her navel.

Call your Senator and tell them if they vote for this bill you and thousands of us peasants are coming after them with pitchforks and torches.
