Trump is burning it down slowly to rebuild it in the MAGA image. Get it over with quick. Shut it down. Do it on our terms, not his. It's happening anyway.

(782 posts)But it's not working anymore, domestically or internationally. This guy needs to go. But he won't. And he's killing this country. But I truly don't understand how this is MAGAT talking point. And if it is, so be it. If that is their aim- to shut it all down, well at this point they are winning. Using the very government they are going to destroy. Take it from them before they do it.

(782 posts)But I have no idea where this country will be in a year. I think it's going to get worse. Much worse. Historically worse.
I do know, the answer to that will have to come quickly.
"Americans will have to decide" I hear that. But one third of this country has already decided. They'll take the dictatorship with open arms and Trump flags waving.
One third will do nothing to stop it.
In other words. I really think we're fucked this time.
I'm starting to think this is the only way to stop what is inevitable otherwise.

(6,283 posts)Trump is flexing his muscles and not getting much push back. But his ICE thugs have killed two people within a couple of weeks and I think the walls are moving in a bit.
I know we are all angry right now. But I think we will dig out of this low point.
