He'll land somewhere in a right wing think tank, or go on the CPAC speaking circuit, or write books. He'll always have fans among the underground nazi wing of the Repub party that will keep him around to remind them of the good old days, and they'll take care of him somehow. It sucks. But that how it seems to go.

But I do get the sense some folks sort of revel in the woe and subjugation at the hands of these cretins, so there’s that element as well.

The far right build bubbles around themselves; so he'll probably insulate himself from "misery", unless prosecuted (and Trump or Vance would probably pre-emptively pardon him from anything federal, because he knows where the bodies are buried).

Imgur blocks access to UK users after regulator warned of fine

Image-hosting platform Imgur has blocked people in the UK from accessing its content.
...
The UK's data watchdog, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), said it recently notified the platform's parent company, MediaLab AI, of plans to fine Imgur after probing its approach to age checks and use of children's personal data.
...
A document published by the ICO alongside the launch of its investigation stated that Imgur did not ask visitors to declare their age when setting up an account.
...
"Our findings are provisional and the ICO will carefully consider any representations from MediaLab before taking a final decision whether to issue a monetary penalty," said Tim Capel, an interim executive director at the ICO.

The US will follow suit at some point, but it seems like the UK is making a mad Orwellian dash at becoming the censorship/surveillance capital of the world. Values the labor party used to uphold have become inverted.

Labour were poised to introduce them in 2010, but were beaten in the general election by what became the Tory-Liberal Democrat coalition, which promptly scrapped the plans - just about the only reason for many of us to cheer that result.

And the most recent attempt by Labour has gone the same way, having to be severely modified and cut back, and they may not have finished U-turning on it yet ...
