How "conservatives" react when one of their own is threatened, versus "conservatives" threatening "liberals"

NO...I do not think that what the woman said is "OK."

NO...I do not believe it is EVER "OK" to wish another person harm.

I just don't see this kind of response from Republicans when it's a Democrat being threatened.

Florida attorney general demands nursing board revoke license of nurse who wished injury on Karoline Leavitt

https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/florida-attorney-general-demands-nursing-170237744.html

Florida attorney general James Uthmeier is calling for the Florida Board of Nursing to revoke the license of a woman after she said she hoped White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt suffers a severe injury in childbirth.

"Women shouldn’t have to worry about a politically driven nurse who wishes them pain and suffering being in the delivery room during childbirth," Uthmeier told Fox News Digital in a statement.

"It’s evil," he added. "The Florida Board of Nursing must take action to keep this person away from patients permanently."

In a video posted on TikTok, Lexie Lawler, a former labor and delivery nurse at Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital, said, "As a labor and delivery nurse, it gives me great joy to wish Karoline Leavitt a fourth degree tear."

She continued with explicit language, saying she hoped Leavitt would suffer a permanent injury during childbirth.

So maybe that’s why it doesn’t count?

Charlton Heston addressing the NRA's 129th convention in 2000. He held up a Revolutionary War-era flintlock rifle, declaring he'd refuse to allow the government to confiscate the gun, then called out Al Gore, running for president at the time.

However, government agents confiscating a legal firearm from a U.S. citizen, then shooting him ten times is OK...if he's a "liberal."

had a penis.

She commits a double-sin in their eyes, as a female, for not behaving as they expect a female to behave.

I too used to feel outraged at the hypocrisy. Then I paused to look at it from the Republican point of view. They think:

1. They are right and anybody opposing them is wrong.

2. Therefore, whatever "we" say or do is wrong. Whatever they say and do is right.

3. For them, the ends justify the means. They believe it's a battle between their worldview and ours. Theirs is a totalitarian fundamentalist religious point of view. In their worldview, the leader is always right. You always, always do what the leader says to do. (Their view of God matches this.)

4. We believe, instead, in a worldview seeking fairness, constitutional rights, the idea of justice. We believe in treating others as we would like to be treated. We view humans as inherently equal and deserving of equal rights and autonomy. Thus, we get outraged by hypocrisy and lies.

5. The Trumpsters don't want fairness. They want to win at any cost. They don't care about fairness, truth, justice, or the American way. They want a dictatorship, which they foolishly believe will be aligned with all their wants and needs.

So don't let them upset you. When you hear Leavitt lie while wearing that cute little cross, don't think "How can a Christian lie like that?!"

Instead, recognize our enemy. She's not a Christian like Jesus meant. She's something else, which Jesus warned about.

1). In terms of race, Miller is the closest to an "in good standing, card-carrying Nazi" as we're ever likely to see

2). Miller feels "threatened" because the public doesn't "heart" him, outside of the MAGAt base.

3). WELL THEN, the SOLUTION is CRYSTAL CLEAR...we must allow Miller and his equally repulsive wife and kids to LIVE RENT-FREE IN HOUSING NORMALLY RESERVED FOR MILITARY OFFICIALS.

Same for Patel and Noem.

That's the part that makes my head explode. On Facebook, "Las Vegas Sun" page has the story about the attack on Ilhan Omar. Earlier this morning, there were 205 "reactions" to the story. MOST OF THEM were the "HA HA" emoticon.

I get the concept of Internet trolls, but the fact that the MAGAts laugh about this stuff while howling like stuck pigs when it's one of their own is disgusting. I hear what you're saying. It's still a challenge to not react to these cretins.
