Why should there EVER be a fatality when an UNARMED person is apprehended by more than five assailants?

If it happens more than once, what’s the problem?
And… is TEN bullets sufficient to render the victim incapacitated?
And… why is it that SEVEN MEN couldn’t subdue ONE man who clearly made NO offensive moves, but instead used literal overkill as a first resort.
They were clearly incompetent and a HUMAN payed for their lack of skill in their paid positions. They should certainly NEVER hold such a position ever again.
These ARE the people who trained in the woods for just such an opportunity to make their ideations come real and engendered a pall of ill-ease among many of their neighbors.
We are in a teachable moment that will likely pass us by.
