We have a gubernatoria race coming up in California for the midterms, and the Mayor of San Jose, Matt Mahon just entered

the already crowed race for Governor.

Out of all the Democratic candidates running in that race, he would be the one I would be least likely vote for in the primary. I don't include the two republicans.

California is setup in such a way that the two top candidates who get the most votes in the primary would run against each other in the general election. That means two Democrats might run against each other in the general election.

That applies to all state and local elections in the state, but NOT the Presidential election.
