And yes, support for separation, even in "Red-neck Alberta" is thankfully pretty minimal.
The gathering of signatures for a separation referendum however is now underway and I hope they show up at my door so I can spit in their faces or at least ask them WTF is wrong with you.
Approx. 177,000 signatures would be required (10% of votes cast in the last provincial election). In a way, I hope they reach that threshold so Albertans can tell them to PO and they will slink away or maybe move to more right-wing environs in another country.
