I think elected Dems should just always assume that the GOP will go out of their way to villify ANY nominee by a Dem POTUS. Just as a default setting. They shouldn’t be scared to nominate who they really want. I mean look at this wackadoo group of misfits, deviants, and downright morons in the current administration.
