Ranked Choice Voting.

This is how how you destroy minority. criminal fascism/organized crime party.

Ask any Republican if they support Trump. If they do, they are complicit with a 34x convicted felon. They (today's Republican Party) are an Organized Crime Party, active in all 50 States..

How we run our primaries is up to us.

It's time for consensus. Ranked choice is a "little d" democratic reform that the Democratic Party as a whole needs to embrace to demonstrate that we ACTUALLY give a shit about democracy.

And as people become familiar with it through our primaries, it will spread. It just makes so much fucking sense.

Lobby your state's Democratic Party leadership to take steps NOW to implement ranked choice voting in their primaries.

... to engage candidates that people prefer to the "mainstream" offerings, but that people don't vote for because they fear they are throwing away their vote.

And if state parties start shifting to IRV, we'll end up with better nominees that have support of the majority of the party's voters.

It also serves as a way to popularize the system.

Back in the early 2000's when I lived in NJ, a group of us lobbied party leadership, trying to at least open a dialog on the idea. We were slapped down big time.

The resistance within the party continues, but perhaps the current crisis is an opportunity as the party seeks ways to appeal to voters who have given up on them. I think IRV in state primaries is a change that will invite more inspiring slates of candidates, get us better nominees, and renew the belief in Dems as the party the truly stands for little d democracy.

We've got to push the old guard whose knee jerk reaction is to protect the status quo that has failed us so monumentally.
