My fear is that swing voters will think the Rethug Party is back to normal
That the lies and cruelty and fascism were embodied in Trump, rather than the entire corrupt apparatus of enablers on board with the agenda.
That far too many will feel a huge sense of relief when Trump is gone, and accept JD Vance as a reasonable president.
That Republicans won't continue to pay a price in local and national elections for what they were under Trump and still are.
