is that many years ago when I lived in the pnw a prostitution ring that trafficked in underage girls was broken up. One of the tactics the pimps used to recruit victims, usually runaway teenagers, was to have a girl their age approach them and befriend them with promises of food and a warm place to sleep. My memory is a little hazy about how the ring was first discovered, but I think it was the parents of one of the girls who were persistent in getting the police to investigate their daughters dissappearance.
