Anyways, I feel like without knowing more about the total population of people Russia was grooming to do their bidding, it's hard to know whether it makes sense for him to have been a part of said population. Not sure we could presume they'd only try to corrupt people they think have a shot at POTUS itself. I have read at least one fairly convincing article over the years laying out the case that Russia's been grooming Trump a long time, but forget where I saw it so can't link to it.

With Trump in power, Putin has moved many of the powerful into government positions, "Nutlick" and Tulsi Gabbard being another example, I am sure we can name many. Your government is being run by Putin, that is something that it is difficult to get one's head around but it is the truth.
