His replacement could be a flaming MAGAt which would be bad. He is beyond doing any real harm and if it came to a real important vote, like impeachment, he would probably vote with the Democrats. A liar, a cheat, and an enabler of the worst president in history. He was the one man who R's would have followed early on during the impeachments if he had been a true patriot.

None of that should encourage us to wish him ill or dead.
