Ahhh..so this is where Epstein got all that money

https://nypost.com/2025/10/18/us-news/jeffrey-epstein-sent-nasty-emails-to-apollo-founder-leon-black/

Jeffrey Epstein sent nasty emails to billionaire Leon Black demanding millions per year before arrest: report

Jeffrey Epstein sent a barrage of nasty emails to his cash cow, billionaire Leon Black, pressuring him to fork over millions of dollars per year to keep his lavish lifestyle afloat.

The disgraced financier and sex trafficker warned that Black’s financial advisors and “retarded” children had created a “really dangerous mess” by attempting to plug the flow of cash, according to emails obtained by the New York Times.

“I never want to have any more uncomfortable money moments with you , I find it very distasteful,” Epstein wrote in a Nov. 2, 2015 email to the Apollo Global Management founder.

“so to be clear , my terms are as follows . I will only work for the usual 40 million per year. It needs to be paid, 25 million upon signing an agreement . 5 million every 2 months thereafter for 6 months ie march may june . this can begin if i am able in January. I will immediately stop work , if the payment is not received [sic]” he wrote, according to the outlet.

----

Susan Estrich, a lawyer for Black, asserted that all payments from Black to Epstein were purely for legitimate tax- and estate-planning services, as proven by an outside law firm hired by Apollo to review the pair’s relationship.

it sounds more like Black was being threatened to pay up, or else some “retarded” children would create a “really dangerous mess.”

Didn't Wexner give Epstein complete power of attorney over his business and the legal right to do anything he wanted with Wexners billions? I do seem to recall reading that in the article. I think it said that Epstein took the opportunity to enrich himself substantially with that agreement. Sounds pretty shady to me.

If Epstein was blackmailing all these super rich guys - why didn't they just have him killed and burn his estate to the ground?

Seriously, even street rats know enough to do that.

epstein built in a deadman's switch in the event he got killed, certain files would be released.

... that nobody, not even powerful people once removed from the mess, wanted that shit to blow up and damage our sacred financial sector.

The dead man's switch did go off and it should have exploded but it was effectively suppressed as a slow burn leaving the typical "man on the street" uncertain about the significance of it all.

Mention it to most people and the first person they'll think of is Andrew-the-former-prince, a buffoon of no political or financial consequence. Or maybe Bill Gates, a guy retired from the Big Game who seems to be regretting some terrible decisions he made with his dick. This is all by design.

(From The Guardian) 'Epstein lawyers discussed possibility of cooperation with prosecutors days before his death, files reveal'

"Less than two weeks before Jeffrey Epstein’s death in jail, his lawyers and Manhattan federal prosecutors met and discussed his potential cooperation, several documents within a cache of newly released investigative files state."

“ 'On July 29, 2019, FBI and [prosecutors] met with Epstein’s attorneys, who, in very general terms, discussed the possibility of a resolution of the case, and the possibility of the defendant’s cooperation,' an FBI document titled 'Epstein Investigation Summary & Timeline' stated."

"Another document titled 'Jeffrey Epstein Significant Case Notification,' which was not attributed to a specific agency, closely resembled this FBI memo, and provided several more details."

“ 'Defense Counsel did not make a specific proposal, and they did not indicate what the nature of Epstein’s cooperation might be, if any,' this document stated. 'It was suggested that Defense Counsel contact SDNY if Epstein was prepared to accept responsibility for his conduct and/or they had a specific proposal for a resolution of this case.' "

... and it usually means a guilty plea and an agreement to cooperate.

Also one year earlier Epstein offered some kind of intel to Putin in 2018 just before the Helsinki meeting. We don't know what it was, but it seems that Putin used it on Chump as a form of blackmail.

Whatever happened in that meeting, maybe Chump figured out that Epstein was the source of the info? Epstein spent an extended period out of the country. But in June 2019 he was arrested as soon as his plane landed at Peterboro Airport in NJ.

16. Uncomfortable Emails
Thu Feb 5, 2026, 01:21 PM
Thursday

There once was a financier named Jeff,
Who found gentle requests bad for his health.
He emailed with spite,
Demanded cash outright,
To bankroll the scale of his wealth.

He wrote to a titan named Black,
Saying funds must be put back on track.
“Uncomfortable talks
Are beneath me,” he squawks,
“Send millions—or work I’ll retract.”

“Forty mil is my usual fee,”
He declared with astounding ennui.
“Pay part up front,
Then the rest every month,
Or immediately—count me as free.”

He warned that advisers had made,
A perilous tangle, he said.
With language quite crass,
Crossing lines unsurpassed,
In emails the Times later read.

The notes painted pressure and threat,
A lifestyle he wouldn’t offset.
Cash flow must run,
Or the work wouldn't be done—
A bargain both blunt and beset.

Black’s lawyer then pushed back hard,
Said the payments were fully above-board.
Just tax plans and trusts,
No coercion, no dust,
Per reviews by a firm brought aboard.

So the tale sits in records and ink,
Where power and money both clink.
A reminder how greed,
When it takes the lead,
Can make even billionaires blink.

In September 1997, Wexner celebrated his 60th birthday with a dinner at his Ohio estate. Meister says he used the occasion to once again tell Wexner how untrustworthy Epstein was. “My wife and I told him and Abigail hundreds of times to stay away from Epstein,” Meister said. In front of guests including former senator Joe Lieberman and real estate developer Marshall Rose, Meister said he begged Wexner to sever ties with Epstein. “Les wouldn’t listen,” Meister said. It was the last time Meister visited Wexner’s house.

and I can't wait to read the rest. There is something very, very fishy here. Here's an example. Levin was the legitimate money manager that Epstein ousted.

snip:

Levin’s skepticism was confirmed as soon as he arrived at Epstein’s Madison Avenue office. There were no visible signs of a trading operation; just Epstein sitting behind a desk that didn’t even have a computer. “Epstein was trying to explain a currency trade he wanted to do. I have an MBA from Ohio State, and I didn’t understand a word the man said,” Levin recalled. Levin went back to Columbus and reported that Epstein was a fraud. “I told Les, ‘Stay away from him,’ ” Levin remembered. Wexner agreed not to do the trade.

Those, I think, were more his favorite hobbies than his life's work. He also used underage girls to gain access to the rich, poweful and semi impotent in order to scam them.

And that's part of what they want covered up, that and the money laundering conduits he used to amass his paper fortune.

Leon Black's relationship with Epstein stayed out of the public eye until these documents and emails started surfacing. Then suddenly Apollo wasn't so sure they wanted Black as their CEO anymore. Susan Estrich may have been called in at that point, I'm not sure.

Epstein's "career" was financed by five billionaires, all connected to the intelligence agency of a Middle Eastern country. This would later allow for him to make more by way of money-laundering, primarily by way of his island.
