What will be their last words?

If we do have elections in 2028, when the new Attorney General starts indicting Trump associates and when they are found guilty and sentenced, I wonder what will be their final words?

Here's a historic precedent that fits them well.

Vidkun Quisling (1887–1945) was a Norwegian military officer and politician who founded the fascist Nasjonal Samling (National Union) party in 1933. He is primarily known for collaborating with Nazi Germany during World War II and acting as the head of a puppet government in Norway, making his surname a synonym for "traitor" or "collaborator".

Vidkun Quisling's final words before his execution by firing squad in 1945 were, "I have been unjustly convicted and die innocent," or variations of "I am innocent!". He said these words while blindfolded, standing against a wall at Akershus Fortress, maintaining his belief that he was wrongly condemned for treason.

He'd pull a Hitler.

And I will lament that it was way too fast, and not nearly agonizing enough.
