Silly question.....how do I buy hearts when I'm already a star member??? And if I do click the star membership

1. Last week DU renewed my star membership,

and today I was was given 20 free hearts..This may be what's happening to you.

If your current Star Membership was made with a one-time payment and you do not have a recurring payment set up, making another one-time purchase will essentially restart your Star Membership so you get another year starting from today (along with the hearts that you get for the purchase).

If your current Star Membership is paid with an automatic recurring payment to DU, please see the section at the link above titled "IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A MONTHLY OR YEARLY STAR MEMBERSHIP AND YOU WOULD LIKE TO BUY HEARTS..."

Edited to add: If you already have a monthly payment set up, you should have already received some hearts. If you didn't get the hearts, please let me know.

4. To answer your question...

If you click on the "renewal" button in order to buy hearts, you also update your star membership at the same time. The new renewal date becomes today, or whenever you do this. Keep in mind that -any- amount donated constitutes a star membership because there is no set amount. In different years I have donated different amounts and it doesn't matter.
