Hawaii hit by 2 different storm systems at the same time.....twice the wind, twice the rain...

below 12-15K feet strong wet northeast trades bringing gust up to 60 mph in wind prone areas and inches of rain in rain prone areas.

above 15K feet an upper level cutoff low is bringing strong southwest winds at higher elevations and periods of light to heavy rain with some thunderstorms.

due to island topography some areas will get deluged and some will get just modest amounts. 2 for one, crazy

glad I didnt spend $2000 to visit waikiki this week. sorry bout that
