...my governor.

I have long learned that Im not trying to get inside of the presidents psyche. Its not a good use of my time, Moore said.
Its not lost on me that Im the only Black governor in this country, and I find that to be particularly painful, considering the fact that the president is trying to exclude me from an organization that not only all my peers have asked me to help to lead, but then also a place where I know I belong.
Moore also said on CNN that the White House dinner with governors and their spouses would no longer be an official National Governors Association event.
If the president wants to have a dinner with his friends and have a black tie dinner with his friends on that night, that is perfectly fine. It will not be an NGA event, Moore said.

(93,742 posts)...obviously, because of other governors who criticized Trump, like Newsom and Pritzker, weren't excluded.
Gov. Polis has always been willing to work with anyone across the political spectrum who wants to help work on the hardest problems facing Colorado and America, regardless of party or who occupies the White House, spokesperson Shelby Wieman said in a statement.

(4,399 posts)We absolutely need an observer, and reporter, in there to know what the pubs are plotting.
It has long been a tactic of the pub party to pass the most controversial policy and other decisions in the dead of night, witih barely a quorum, and then present the fait accompli in the back of the minutes.
We need at least a designated observer to attend without fear of being called a traitor.

I would hope that the other governors will speak out. However, my governor will be sitting on the right hand side of their Caligula demigod.
