The only thing that woman is capable of offering is proof that would convict him. Nothing she could possibly produce or say would "clear" him.

I almost hope the felon takes her up on it. I can't think of anything that would make his guilt more crystal clear to any idiot currently giving him the "benefit of the doubt" than that.
