From what I’ve heard, morale isn’t very good. They have a lot of decent and dedicated public servants working there. Of law enforcement agencies, their hiring standards and education requirements were typically higher than others (like say DHS/ICE), but I’ve also heard they have been lowered.

Of course, it all comes down to leadership. Considering the clown running it, none of it is surprising. Patel and bongino have done a lot of damage to the agency.
