“The FDA has refused to accept an application from Moderna to review its first mRNA seasonal flu vaccine, in another setback for the technology that’s been a target of some Trump administration health officials,” CNN reports.

Applegrove: you know I thought than when it came out George W. Bush cancelled mRNA studies it was a mistake of the administration. Thus mRNA was studied elsewhere and was ready to save millions of lives during COVID. Now I'm not so sure it was a 'mistake' of the George W. Bush Administration. Or the smoking lobby: they sure did fight hard to deny that smoking kills and had help from Republicans. Maybe conservatives have wanted fewer Americans on Medicare and Social Security for 50 - 60 years?

8. mRNA research is incredibly promising

....why disable it? Does it just boil down to distrust in the technology? Distrust in the government? Did mRNA offend Orange Piggy somehow somewhere? Is there some nefarious company out there bribing Trump to kill mRNA in the US so they can exploit it instead of any US companies?

Half of the shit Trump pulls does not make a lot of sense, unless you think he is intent on destabilizing and destroying America.
