A couple more things:
white privilege is never saying you're sorry; never believing anyone has anything worthwhile to say but you; never listening, but always expecting to be heard; always wanting more than you have, and resenting anything anyone else has.

There are about 1000 billionaires in the US, but only 12 of them are black. That's about 1%, but by population, black people make up about 14% of the US population. So the bosses are almost all white, and they decide who to hire. Especially now that DEI has been stopped.
DEI was the most equitable solution to decades and decades of privileged white folks choosing white applicants over black applicants, regardless of who was best qualified. For that matter, not even letting black people get into a position to be the most qualified.
