He used to do more analysis of musical styles and performers, which I really liked, but...

... most of his videos for the past couple of years have been about autotune/pitch-correction, famous names lip-syncing at concerts, and a few YouTube frauds. But I think that's just because that kind of crap, which has been around for a while, has virtually taken over commercial music in recent years. Fil claims that almost all the music you hear on steaming services and talent shows has been processed, even remixes and re-recordings of classics. I can't verify that's true, but now that I know what it sounds like, I sure hear a lot of it, everywhere.
