I lived on Synder and Kolb... about 8 miles from there
Her house is not far from La Encantada, a sort of upscale mini-mall. There was an Apple Store there plus a number of upscale restaurants. Also not far from her place is the trail head for Finger Rock hiking trail. I did that back in the 70s but it is for those who like to hike in the desert ( and transition to pine forest at the upper elevations ).
