I have a firm belief that everyone, if given a few days

near the end of their lives, assesses their behavior during the time they lived.

With that in mind, I dearly hope that Donald J. Trump, during that assessment, realizes what a toxic son of a bitch he has been. I doubt he will have much regret, but I want him to know that. So, may he be completely aware a couple of days before he dies that he has been someone who will only be remembered for the broken, cruel asshole he has been.

During his last days (may they come soon) he is more likely to reflect on what he believes to be his greatness. His only regrets will have to do with failing to get his face carved on Mount Rushmore or winning a real Nobel Peace Prize, and he will die resenting those slights.

(whether you view that as a reflection of an 'illness' or no, the truth remains ...) Trump goes to his grave thinking of himself as a great man - that achieved great things.

I think we must content ourselves with certain knowledge that every other living soul, outside the singular Donald, (including his family and devoted acolytes) - will come to see/remember him as a thoroughly contemptible and flawed human being. One certain to be regarded as a madman and clownish caricature - along with historic villain, tragic blunder, and cautionary tale for the ages.

Out of my own curiosity, I have read many accounts of a near death experience. Many report that they had a review of their life and how they lived their life. Who they helped, harmed or injured in any way was made plain. The person reported feeling the pain, insult or injury they had caused in others. It was not a choice. It just happened.

In the Trump administration most, if not all, are in for a boat load of pain if this turns out to be true, Guess we’ll have to wait and see how this works. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mon Feb 16, 2026, 06:33 PM
Feb 16

But I’ve had countless numbers of kitties starting when I was in elementary school. One long time favorite was Mama Sita that we got when I was in high school in Ft.Worth, Texas. She hopped in my mom’s car at a repair shop and the shop owner asked my mom if she wanted her. My mom said yes and she had her from 1964 until 1979.

Our last kitty was named Sushi and he was hanging around a house we were looking at and did buy, He was still there when we moved in. The previous owners claimed they couldn’t catch him when they moved out and would return for him. They never did and he was with us for about 10 years. Oh, he also introduced us to his girlfriend and four kittens shortly after we moved in. We took mama kitty to be fixed and the vet found her a home and we found homes for all the kittens. And Sushi got fixed next. He was a pretty kitty — part Siamese with blue eyes. Still miss him. 😿

No kitties now because it broke our heart when Sushi died. But we have neighborhood cats who use our backyard as a thoroughfare from here to there. Some take a break and nap here. Some hunt birds but rarely catch any. I name a few but have no idea where they really live. Just enjoy seeing them. They’re all well fed and obviously cared for, so we do not feed them.
