As anyone who has watched the Winter Olympics knows, the absolutely most fascinating, breathtaking, high-speed, life-threatening, death-defying sport is - - - CURLING.

(151,281 posts)Here in Minnesota, we take curling very seriously, of course. A "double touch" is the unforgiveable sin in the sport. Unheard of!

(12,533 posts)My husband loves to watch curling. As did a good friend of ours (now deceased). The two of them would watch the matches with the same enthusiasm once reserved only for baseball and football.
Why??
I. Have. No. Idea.
