I hate what Trump is doing and will continue to do to our good neighbors to the north and the entire world for that matter, but US athletes have had absolutely zero to do with that. Today is a celebration of the sweat and blood they've poured into this effort the past four years.

So, be sad all you want. Me? Imma crank it up! USA! USA! USA! USA!

And I take nothing away from the Canadians. I would have bet the mortgage the way they were playing that the Canadians were going to win. It was a great game regardless. And hey, we only win one of these every 20-46 years. I was 13 the last time it happened, so I will enjoy it. Not sure I will be here for the 2072 games

Same for the NFL, NBA, MLB and any sport you can think of. Fuck them all, I guess?

Just an amazing game and very equally matched. Feel bad for Canada.

I would have been totally ok with a Canadian win, given the state of the country at this time.

But I sure as hell won't feel bad the US won. Far from it given there's been just two gold wins in my 59 years.

Not that crap they put on now. Too bad Syd didn’t play, would’ve been nice to see.
