But that doesn't seem to be working. Too many people still using it. We have to take the House and Senate with veto proof numbers if we really want to do something. Even then we'll really have to push Dems to realize how important it is.

There is a very interesting book by Robert Cialdini titled Influence that is a real eye opener on this topic. The GOP seems very skilled at using these techniques. But the real stunner for me is how influence affects even airline crashes—scary stuff
