and other organ meats, but eat them rarely. They’re not the bargain Kennedy seems to think they are- meat distribution in the US has changed a lot over the past few decades and butchers rarely get large animal carcasses complete with organs - most meat is processed and packaged further up the chain, and a lot of offal is diverted for animal feed at the slaughterhouses. If you’re lucky and know where to look you can find things like liver, tripe, kidneys, etc. but the days when they were the cheap items stocked at most local stores are gone. Like the rest of the administration Kennedy is out of touch with the reality the rest of us live in.
