I will shed no tears at the demise the fascist president, but

when it finally comes, I dread the weeks of publicity about him that will drag on and on and on.

RWers will hail him as a saint, to join ranks with St. Ronnie. Sts. Ronnie and Donnie.

The left will celebrate, of course.

And through it all, while attention is on his demise, the fascist backers who kept him propped up with drug cocktails as their front man for so long will be planning and implementing the next steps in destroying democracy.

The battle to maintain democracy will not end with Herr Drumpf's departure. Stay vigilant.

True. And that will be relief from the endless analyses of him. wnylib Mar 2 #6

He had fireworks for Kirk's send-off -- surely we'll want even better fireworks for waving Don John's away

I was discussing "party plans" with my cousin last night. I have no concerns about the coverage, as I have full control over what I watch and/or read.

so much on his evil character that they will get lax, thinking that the battle for the soul of the nation is over. It will not be over since he is propped up by fascist backers now who will continue their work when he's gone.

But I will celebrate the departure of their current chosen one.

...but that also means we have to do whatever we can to keep his vile offspring from continuing his toxic legacy. They all probably belong in jail, even Ivana.

But, while the celebrations go on, the fascist cabal that now supports him, will be promoting his replacement and taking further steps to promote fascism.

We cannot take our eyes and ears off of what the do while everyone is distracted by the celebrations.
