The less diplomatic version, from German Defense Minister Pistorius: “What does (…) Donald Trump expect a handful or two handfuls of European frigates to do in the Strait of Hormuz that the powerful US Navy cannot do? This is not our war, we have not started it.”

I wish our country could learn faster. Not expecting Trump to be a part of that.

I am happy that our former allies are not capitulating to the man-baby's demands and bailing his orange a$$ out of the fire!!! Tyrants need to be stood up to, and since our Legislative branch refuses to do so, it's good that someone is. But you know that Vlad is just loving the collapse of our alliances. It will take a long time to gain back the trust needed to work in concert again. And in the meantime, Vlad, with his newly released oil revenues will go on to invade more countries.

No matter the outcome, he'd claim total victory - so his deplorables can have something to lap up. Any dis-satisfaction he has will be blamed on the negotiators instead of his own greed, stupidity, and weakness.
