. . . hoping for snow (or snow scares) to push food sales. Around here, snow scares are good sport for retailers this time of year. Hometown football teams in playoffs helps some, too. Without either, things get bleak this time of year for hours. I'm designated part-time and I brace for what I expect to be a drop from nearly 40 hrs regular week and about 8 hours weekend overtime, to about 24 hrs reg with the weekend overtime holding (I hope). Tough time of year for retail. Valentine's Day helps . . .
