And I pressed him enough (what if Bernie doesn’t win primary?) for him to say he would never vote for Biden because he was a pedophile

2. SanAn is not as liberal as Austin, but it's better than most of TX.

Hope he's aware 65% of the population is Hispanic; similar numbers apply to most towns in the vicinity. Maybe not the best environment for one leaning Trumpward, esp. if he doesn't speak Spanish, because most of his patients and neighbors will. Wives and families may not speak English.

Hint: avoid the big Mexican restaurants; they are for the touriots. When San Antonines want good Mexican cooking, they go home. Find a little mom-&-pop if you want authentic Mexican. There are huge numbers of restaurants and food trucks which are open only for breakfast and lunch to serve blue collar customers -- as an intern, he may have to rely on those occasionally. I'm sure a med school would have plenty of lunch trucks. It's a pretty different type of city, knowing that you are in the minority if you are any kind of white.
