What do you guys think of India Today, as a news source?

I don't think I've linked it yet (except now) in a post, but I'm noticing it more and more on Bluesky.

1. looks like a normal news site

Keep an open and yet critical mind, as with any news source as well all know.

... the failed fact checks are on goofy crap. Their reporting on the US has been fairly accurate.

5. Most Indian news sources are a mix

I would check with other sources to confirm certain things.

A lot of it is just the usual things that are public and reported by others.

But they often push certain angles to a story and can be clickbaity.

It's too bad the country doesn't have better standards because they do report things that you won't find other places and is news worthy. But you can't immediately know if it's accurate .

but that isn’t saying much😀

7. It is very right wing and

is filled with misinformation. I wouldn't use it as a source. I have seen them in my Ukraine war feed.
