What happened to the ultimatum trump gave Iran yesterday?

Yesterday trump gave Iran an ultimatum to either open up the strait within 48 hours or he would bomb them. Today he TACO'ed (again), using the excuse that there are ongoing talks. There is no evidence of talks, yet the stock market rose on that assertion.

It is so obvious what is going on here. But the fact that trump made an ultimatum and chickened out is not being mentioned. It's like it never happened. And it was just yesterday. Already sanewashed by our corporate media.

Has there ever been a president (or politician) whose words mean less? Wake up, media! Start talking about what he does, not what he says !

And as said deadline approaches, and after having non-impaired staffers explain, as best they can, that said ultimatum will result in a massive escalation with unknown consequences . . .

Makes up a story that negotiations are under way, denied by the opponent, so action is delayed by some random time step (enough time to place market orders?). . .

While extolling the great respect the world has for said leader . . .

All for a war that said leader declared over and won numerous times over the last few weeks.
